Melee Melo

This is a mish-mash of a bunch of stuff. Try hard to follow along:

- I find that I have these spells where I'll binge listen to a certain artist or genre of music. It's kind of strange, but it happens. Recently I've been through: The "In The Groove Anthology," "Prince," "Danity Kane," "The Beatmania Anthology..." the list goes on. This time around I'm on a Europop/Eurodance kick. Here's a sample:

Captain Jack - Captain Jack

Ace of Base - Wheel of Fortune

I think some of you seriously thought I was lying when I said I listen to a large variety of music. Music is amazing. It provides energy and evokes emotion. It motivates me.

- Contrary to popular belief, I am not planning on committing any crime and blaming it on "passion." It was literally a question that popped into my head. Promise!

- My Mac should be here tomorrow. In fact, I'll be waiting for it. Apple was really fast with the repair and return of my machine. I'm impressed. High 5 for that 3 year extended warranty!

- No, I don't have HIV. Whoever left that ignorant ass comment needs to be neutered.

That's all for now. The kids are done with their work now: heading back to the building. More updates soon.

Question: Crime of Passion

This has been on my mind lately. Is a crime of passion actually justified? What do you think?

Note: No, I'm not planning on committing any crimes. Just curious.

Nerd Post

"In the Groove utilizes similar mechanics to Konami's Dance Dance Revolution series. The core gameplay involves the player moving his or her feet to a set pattern, stepping in time to the general rhythm or beat of a song. During normal gameplay, arrows scroll upwards from the bottom of the screen and pass over flashing stationary arrows (referred to as the "guide arrows" or "receptors")... the player is taken to the Results Screen, which rates the player's performance with a letter grade and a percentage score... Stepcharts on In the Groove can sometimes contain 3 or 4 arrow combinations (usually hit with the assistance of hands)."

I would murder someone for an ITG Dedi-cab, right now... Okay, maybe I wouldn't go that far, but it would be really nice to play on one.

I came upon the "In The Groove 3" soundtrack a few weeks ago. I'm really impressed with what Roxor and Kyle Ward created. The series was really improving. Too bad those money hungry hoes over at Konami destroyed the ITG Franchise. ITG 3 would've been amazing. For those of you who don't know, Konami, the creator of the "Dance Dance Revolution" franchise, sued Roxor, the company who created ITG, for copyright infringement. Both of the games are similar, but very different (imagine Coke and Pepsi). Even though both games are completely different, the court decided in favor of Konami, and in turn, they absorbed the company.

I've really taken a liking to the soundtrack. Below are my ITG songs of the moment. I present to you "Hasse Mich" by Onyx and "Get Away" by E-Rotic:

Onyx - "Hasse Mich"

E-Rotic - "Get Away"

What did I tell you guys? A. I love all kinds of music(Yes, even Europop). B. I have a nerd streak.

LOL.

Infection

Someone, please call the paramedics!
Nine-one-one: I need your assistance.

I’ve contracted a mean disease and it festers inside.
Highly infectious, immutable– visceral
I fear there is no cure.

The Lady in Red engaged me in a dance– A tango
Instant affinity: Emotion reverberated between us.
The scarlet scintillation reflected from her eyes and
pierced my heart.

Point of infection.

The pathogen grows exponentially;
slowly taking over my being.
It ravages my body – pillages my heart.

Nine-one-one: I need your assistance.
Someone, please call the paramedics!

I cannot shake this fever: passion,
commitment, intimacy - jealousy.

I’ve contracted a mean disease and it festers inside.
I fear there is no cure
